About

“A fine beer may be judged with only one sip, but it's better to be thoroughly sure.”

This is a beer journal,
of sorts. A documentation
of every brew I drink.
Ales, lagers, stouts -
If I drink it, I'll post it.

I'm no expert.
I just enjoy good beer.

This started as a one-year
project, and now that it's
come full-circle, I've decided
to keep it going. Cheers!

Dogfish Head Punkin Ale   Alc/Vol: 7%
This is one of my favorite pumpkin ales. It smells amazing. The pumpkin pie spice, the cinnamon, the nutmeg, it’s right up front. You can taste the spices immediately and they stick with you, and the pumpkin comes in stronger in the aftertaste. It’s not overpowering or overly sweet - it’s smooth. Overall, I think this is a pumpkin ale done right. I try as many as I can every year and I always make sure I get at least one four-pack of this.
