“A fine beer may be judged
with only one sip,
but it's better to be thoroughly sure.”

I'm no expert.
I just enjoy good beer.

This was a one-year project to document all the different beers I drank from April of 2010 to April of 2011. I will continue to update this periodically, though!

Cheers!

Anchor’s Our Special Ale 2010 - Merry Christmas & Happy New Year   Alc/Vol: 5.5%
This was recommended by a good friend and I’m so glad I tried it. It’s a limited release so it changes a bit every year. Definitely full of winter spices, but not necessarily the ones I expected - it smells spicier than it tastes. The flavor was kind of toasty (in a good way) and I tasted cloves, ginger, a bit of dark chocolate, black cherry and pine notes. This drinks like it’s at more than 5.5 percent. I’ll be trying it every year from now on, for sure.
