About

“A fine beer may be judged with only one sip, but it's better to be thoroughly sure.”

This is a beer journal,
of sorts. A documentation
of every brew I drink.
Ales, lagers, stouts -
If I drink it, I'll post it.

I'm no expert.
I just enjoy good beer.

This started as a one-year
project, and now that it's
come full-circle, I've decided
to keep it going. Cheers!

Great Lakes Brewing Co. Christmas Ale Alc/Vol: 7.5%
One of my favorite beers. I wait all year for this one (along with Great Lakes’ early spring release, Conway’s Irish Ale). The Christmas Ale is warm and complex with a great mix of spices. Lots of ginger and cinnamon; hoppy but not overly bitter. Good stuff.
