About

“A fine beer may be judged
with only one sip,
but it's better to be thoroughly sure.”

I'm no expert.
I just enjoy good beer.

This was a one-year project to document all the different beers I drank from April of 2010 to April of 2011. I will continue to update this periodically, though!

Cheers!

Bell’s Porter  Alc/Vol: 5.6%
Dark, bitter chocolate and roasted malts. A tiny bit sweet with a decently bitter bite. This is a pretty well-balanced porter. Bell’s tends to get it right every time.

Bell’s Brewery Amber AleAlc/Vol: 5.5%  Excellent. This is an A+ amber ale, a little toasty with a slight sweetness and a nice bite. Very drinkable. I’ll keep it simple here: Bell’s can do no wrong. If you’re a fan of amber ales, drink this.

Bell’s Brewery Oberon Ale Alc/Vol: 5.8%
I don’t know why it took me so long to try this. A few friends have suggested it and it is indeed a great summer wheat ale. It’s light but still has a lot of flavor with hints of citrus fruit and spices. Slightly sweet but with a nice little kick to it. Worth checking out if you can find it.

Bell’s Two Hearted AleAlc/Vol: 7.1%
A really fantastic IPA. It’s brewed in Michigan and is a bit harder to find where I’m currently living, so I was pretty excited to get it at one of my favorite bars earlier this week. This is niiiice and hoppy, a little bit sweet, crisp and really just everything an IPA should be, in my opinion. This definitely became a fast favorite of mine. Find it and drink it. Trust me.
